The Lamb doesn’t have to get on his horse and ride, so to speak. He just is. The cavalry doesn’t have to hear about what’s happening and somehow try to get there just in the nick of time.
God is never late because He never has to get anywhere. He just is.

God is not like human rescuers who must travel to reach someone in trouble. He is always present. He never arrives late because He never needs to get anywhere.
