Love is always special, but the degree to which the love is special is determined by the magnitude of the one doing the loving. A dog loves its owner because the owner feeds it, and children love their daddy because he is their father. A wife’s love is different because she had a choice. However, the One who spoke the world into existence, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth loves us.
